While EA FC 26 will release on September 26, 2025, you can pre-order the Ultimate Edition now if you'd like. The chance to receive an exclusive Ultimate Team icon player is currently the biggest pre-order bonus.
What icons are included in the FC 26 pre-order?
Essentially, if players purchase the EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Edition before August 26, they'll have a chance to receive a non-transferable starting icon, chosen randomly from a list of 15 legendary players. These players are not only fan favorites, but also rising stars in the football world. Here are all the icons available in FC 26:

FC 26 fans will also see new icons appear among the 13 historical players, who will inspire unique archetypes, allowing fans to choose the perfect playing style. Each new archetype will possess unique traits and offer a fresh customization experience, giving fans a better understanding of how professional players develop.

How do I correctly complete the icon ordering process?
Fans who pre-order before August 26th will receive early access to the Ultimate Edition starting September 19, 2025, a week before the global release. So, players only need to pre-order before August 26th to receive one non-tradable first-run icon, which includes the new 26 icons and fan-favorite R9s Thierry Henry and Steven Gerrard. The first-run icon will be available in the Early Access version, and the Champions Edition will be upgraded in November.
In addition, starting September 19, 2025, players can join the club through 10 hours of early access in EA Sports FC™ 26 through EA Play. Members also receive a 10% discount on EA digital content, including pre-orders, game downloads, FC Points, and DLC, as well as seasonal Ultimate Team draft tokens and club rewards. Upon pre-ordering EA Sports FC 26, players will automatically receive a random Debut Icon from the list above at the start of Early Access. Additionally, in November, the Debut Icon players received will automatically upgrade to the Champion Edition. This will showcase players at the peak of their careers and commemorate their greatest achievements. The upgrade is automatic, requiring no additional objectives or training.
EA Sports FC 26 is currently available for pre-order. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, Amazon Luna, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. EA Sports FC 26 will launch globally on September 26, 2025, with the Ultimate Edition available in Early Access starting September 19, 2025.
